After relocating to Central Illinois several years ago, Tara brings a wide-range perspective to practicing real estate from years of living in Southern California and Central Texas. She continues to own and manage a small boutique real estate brokerage outside of Ft. Hood, Texas, in addition to building a practice in the Greater Peoria Area. Tara also actively teaches pre-licensing real estate courses, namely Real Estate Principles I and II, at Central Texas College. She is currently studying for her Managing Broker license in addition to her Pre-License Education Instructor license.
Tara holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in local government management from the University of North Texas (2013), Master's degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University - Central Texas (2011), and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and History from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (2008). In her real estate career, Tara also earned the following designations: Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB), Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI®), Pricing Strategist Advisor (PSA), Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®), At Home With Diversity® certification, e-PRO®, Military Relocation Professional, Certified Military Relocation Specialist, Real Construction Certified, Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), Certified New Home Specialist, and is C2EX endorsed. She is a graduate of the Texas Real Estate Leadership Program.
Tara is a part of the Board of Directors for Dunlap Lacrosse League and remains heavily active in the Parents' Clubs for Dunlap Grade School in addition to Dunlap Valley Middle School.
She is a member of the Peoria Area Association of REALTORS®, Illinois REALTORS®, Ft. Hood Area Association of REALTORS®, and Texas REALTORS®.
